We had a very nice dinner at MC, all dishes came out great, especially the special Wagyu was delicious, the service from Kate was impeccable, taking great care of us, manager let us sit there finishing our drinks even after closure. Just a great evening!

MC Modern Asian Cuisine has amazing food and cocktails. Each dish was exceptional. Our only hesitation was with wait times. We had a reservation and were sat immediately, however, the wait time for drinks and food was considerably long. Our first round of cocktails took ~25 minutes, appetizers too, ~45 minutes. Sushi rolls took another 30-35 minutes. We ordered in series (3 appetizers, 4 sushi roles). After we got the sushi roles we still wanted to order moor food, however, by this time we had already been at the restaurant for 2.5 hours and didn't want to wait another 30-35 minutes for food. This was unfortunately because the food was very flavorful. We plan to try it again, but are hesitant due to these wait times given the prices.

The food was exceptional! It seemed short staffed so it took a long time to get cocktails. We definitely recommend and will go back!

We had a delicious meal here— conveniently located in Downtown Cary in a historic house. We enjoyed everything that we tried— one small plate, two items from raw and maki options, and a large plate was enough for both of us!

Our favorite place to share with friends it truly is the best restaurant in NC and service is spectacular! Chef does a great job with seasonal ingredients and offering a variety of dishes.

Dinner with friends. Wish there were a few more choices. Fortunately we love sushi. Very enjoyable evening.

This is the 2nd time I have been to this establishment. The previous time was a business dinner during the week, so we decided to try it for my wife’s birthday on a Saturday. The food was excellent as usual. My wife had the steak Kew and I had the beef short ribs. The meat was tender in both dishes and the food was creatively presented. The bread pudding for dessert was very good but rich, so we shared it together. The only negative was the amount of time we had to wait for a table, not because it was exceptionally busy, but because they seemed to be short of staff. There were open tables in the room that were not bussed before we left. Once we were seated, the table service was very good. Overall, the environment is great and the food is good. Hopefully the service issue will be temporary.
