I was interested in trying Mazi so we went last night. Fabulous wine and whiskey list. The saganaki and calamari were delicious. They had an authentic Greek salad (no lettuce!!). The mussels, salmon and chicken were perfectly cooked. One of my new favorite restaurants in DC.

Great experience! Food was exceptional and the bar staff were very attentive. Drink prices very reasonable for downtown DC.

Good Greek salad good lamb burger but get it medium. Should have tzasiki on the lamb burger and on anything really as a Greek place. 10/10 staff and location when you’re done you can go to a gentleman’s club

The waitress was super efficient, attentive, and not pushy. Food was very good and nicely priced.

I always enjoy lunch at Mazi: food is great, staff is attentive and friendly, the seats are comfortable, and the noise level is generally low enough with the seats spaced well apart to have a quiet conversation without straining to hear.

Had requested a quiet table/booth. When we arrived early on Friday night. 13 Dec, restaurant was very busy and packed. Hostess did not really have any quiet tables/booths and told us up-front. Only tables available were in the back near 2 large, probably loud, holiday celebrating groups. Bar, however, was very open, and we could get stools far away from the large groups. We thought this was perfectly acceptable, and it turned out DELIGHTFUL. We sat side by side, could easily hear one another, and watch all the activity. But what really made the evening SPECIAL and memorable, was our server, the bartender, George. He had great recommendations, all the food was truly outstanding, and we could not have had a nicer evening out for a very senior couple,

Great restaurant! Go there if you can! Noise level was high, but since we were seated at the very first table the noise level was less a problem. Thanks for the birthday cupcake!
