A delicious dinner with my daughter. We enjoyed the swordfish and chicken entrees. Service was slow. We were seated and it was nearly 30 minutes before waiter took our order, then another 30 minutes for our food.

What a delightful evening we enjoyed! This is such a beautiful setting and inviting dining experience. The hostess greeted us with a friendly and welcoming smile and our server was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to offer advice. The food was outstanding we both enjoyed our meals (watermelon salad with shrimp and the chicken dish) and the Churro dessert was fantastic. We will be back!

Maynards is back! Great food, outstanding service, fun environment. New chef is rockin' it, waitstaff is the best, scrumptious cocktails, and delish desserts to top it off.

Food and service were terrific. Ambiance is outstanding. My only concern is the limited menu. I understand the business decision but a few more choices might bring me back sooner.

It was my husband's birthday and we were treated with the most fantastic service from the time we entered until we left. Our server was Lily and she was remarkable. The food was delicious and service outstanding . The dining room did fill up but the noise level was low. What a delightful night. The special drink for the night was soooo good! We will be back!!!

Quiet until the train goes by -- a unique and charming "feature" of the restaurant. Maynard's always serves a delicious meal. The menu keeps getting smaller, but that may be why they do so well with what they serve. Good variety of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. Today 3 of the 4 of us had the swordfish, the 4th had a flank steak dish. All delicious. My husband and I shared a side salad, and our friends enjoyed an octopus appetizer. Nice selection of mixed drinks, wines and beers, and yummy desserts (churro was a substitute that night -- exceptional!) The only downside, is that it's pricey. Prices here have always been a bit above the average fine dining. Good for an occasional splurge, though. Such a nice atmosphere, and reliably tasty food.

The menu is now extremely limited. I was trying to book at the Cup but they were full. We hadn’t been to Maynard’s for years and thought we’d go back to check it out. Gone is the elegant dining experience was obvious from the time we sat down. The waitress was short with us and very quick to tell us there were no specials and about something they were out of, but I can’t remember what is was. I asked if they still had oysters on the half shell and was told no. We ordered an appetizer of peppers. Save your money! It was some little green washed peppers flashed in a skillet with oil and I’m not sure why they bothered. The peppers were full of seeds with stems and presented scattered on a plate. My husband ordered swordfish and I’m sure it was a frozen filet thawed and minimally prepared. I had a bite and was very underwhelmed. I ordered a skirt steak with chimichurri sauce (my main reason for ordering) and the sauce was barely there, didn’t seem like much of a chimichurri either. I was told the chef recommended medium rare and I went with that recommendation. The meat was inedible! It was fatty, rubbery and tough, big globs of it. I tried to chew every piece and couldn’t. The waitress knew when she looked at my plate that it wasn’t good.

Our server was super nice and really knew her tequilas which I always appreciate!!! The the steak was really good!

First class dining and the hosts and waiters are very professional and pleasant. I love eating here. Been back several times sampling different drinks and dinner entrees. Very tasty.
