Maya Bistro is a family-owned restaurant in Arlington, VA. in Maya Bistro our delicious meals can be anything from a simple snack to an elaborate multi-course meal celebrates good food, hospitality and the heart of Turkey.


It is an upscale-casual dining experience that celebrates the rich diversity of Turkish & Mediterranean food and culture through a blend of classic and contemporary menu offerings and superb hospitality.


With the 35 years of experience in a variety of cuisines, our family draws on a deep knowledge of classic and contemporary Turkish & Mediterranean cooking as well as the many regional influences on Turkish & Mediterranean cuisine.

                      Our party of four shared two entrées, two desserts, and a number of appetizers, including the spreads trio, the brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and zucchini cakes. We had lamb and beef kebabs. Everything was spectacularly delicious. Service was attentive, but not intrusive. Desserts and Turkish coffee made a wonderful end to a great evening. We will be back very soon.

                      Lunch with an elder relative, we ordered one falafel wrap and one adana wrap, both with side salads. All wrap and salad veggies were fresh, and food was plated well. My relative enjoyed the falafel but needed hot sauce on the side for added flavor (he asked, they gave.) The meat in my adana wrap was tasty but also could have used a bit more spice. Service was very good; the lovely waitress was attentive and pleasant.

                      Excellent! Lamb was the best flavor I'd had in a while. Grilled perfectly. The grilled vegetables (tomato and red pepper) were perfect. My wife had the sea bass (whole fish) which was fresh and tender. Side vegetables were steamed to perfection - al dente. Had the house "Maya Mojito" and it was lively and refreshing. Service was attentive and helpful, restaurant was clean and modern, staff hustled to re-arrange tables and chairs to accommodate different groups without disturbing other patrons. Parking was challenging, but only because the place was busy and they are in a small shopping strip. We found parking next door so it worked out okay. Will definitely book again when in Arlington.

                      Amazing food, fresh and delicious. Great service and very clean. Conveniently located, parking wasn’t a problem but it seemed limited. Will be returning.

                      Have been for MANY superb dinners, but rarely for lunch like I was this visit. I had one of the healthiest, tastiest veggie wraps with a superb shepherd's salad that I've ever had! This place is a consistent winner with great food, REALLY nice owners and staff, great cocktails and incredibly interesting desserts, too. Cannot recommend it highly enough - and a great value, too!
