Un des restaurants les plus réputés de Covent Garden, Maxwell's Bar & Grill a ouvert au début des années 1980 et marche encore fort. Réparti sur deux étages et jouissant d'un emplacement privilégié sur James Street au cœur de Covent Garden, Maxwell sert un menu de classiques de style américain testés et approuvés : des coupes de steaks de première qualité, des hamburgers, des « potato skins », « surf 'n' turf », du poisson frais et des salades légères. Le décor est un clin d'œil à nos amis d'outre-atlantique doté de boxes en cuir moelleux et d'enseignes au néon sur le mur. Le bar à cocktails de Maxwell est un véritable succès grâce aussi à ses barmans qui mélangent une multitude de cocktails classiques.

After checking the online reviews we decided to go to London for Sunday lunch . We had an amazing time in Covent Garden and the staff were amazing at Maxwell’s and the food was superb well done guys keep up the great work

We were a party of 7pm and we were able to bring our reservation forward by 2hours which was fabulous. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was good.

Food was very oil and burnt. Very disappointed. Food quality use to be great but not for this time.

Granted; it was a busy Friday evening. However it took over an hour for our one course to arrive. When it did, my dinner was quite literally a thin piece of salmon and a corn on the cob - with a bowl of sour cream, for £20. I left feeling hungry and disappointed

I love going to Maxwell’s, it is my daughter’s favourite place to eat fajitas … it is fun and relaxed at the same time .. the food is always delicious and everyone is so friendly and helpful … a lovely experience for my daughters birthday .. thank you

When we were younger, we went to the Hampstead branch for many years before it closed down, so going to the Covent Garden branch was like going back in time. Still the best burgers & would definitely recommend

Good meal - very convenient for the Royal Opera House where we were attending a performance later. Very small table for 2 people - waitress knocked over my glass of water which went on my son's phone and his jacket & trousers but didn't cause any major problems luckily!

We loved the atmosphere and choice of food available. It was our little girls birthday and we loved the Happy Birthday song from the team. Our only gripe was that our little girls food didn't come until 20minutes after our food which was really disappointing especially as it was her birthday and she was hungry watching us eat.
