Un des restaurants les plus réputés de Covent Garden, Maxwell's Bar & Grill a ouvert au début des années 1980 et marche encore fort. Réparti sur deux étages et jouissant d'un emplacement privilégié sur James Street au cœur de Covent Garden, Maxwell sert un menu de classiques de style américain testés et approuvés : des coupes de steaks de première qualité, des hamburgers, des « potato skins », « surf 'n' turf », du poisson frais et des salades légères. Le décor est un clin d'œil à nos amis d'outre-atlantique doté de boxes en cuir moelleux et d'enseignes au néon sur le mur. Le bar à cocktails de Maxwell est un véritable succès grâce aussi à ses barmans qui mélangent une multitude de cocktails classiques.

Food was exceptional, Frickles were made up of a little too much bread and not enough pickle but otherwise everything was great. The atmosphere was fantastic with some great music playing throughout the evening. The staff were great, provided exactly the level of attention you want for a meal out, checking in at the right times with empty plates and glasses removed promptly and decent wait times between courses despite being very busy.

We had a lovely lunch. There were many many birthdays celebrated today. So noise was high. But we still enjoyed our lunch.

L’ambiance est superbe, les serveurs sont très accueillant et gentils, de très bons cocktails à des prix abordables. Super resto!!

This was our second time at Maxwell's and we were celebrating two family birthday's. The staff were amazing and made a real fuss of us. We even had a free bottle of Prosecco and an extra dessert with a sparkler presented to the table whilst singing "Happy Birthday". Menu choice is great and prices very reasonable for London, We had a wonderful time and hope to be back in the near future.

The staff were excellent and efficient! We had a lovely table and they treated us so well. We were celebrating a birthday so we got the full birthday treatment which was fantastic! Food was fab! Recommend highly.

Very family friendly, we had two 4 year olds and a baby with us and both the staff and menu were very accommodating of this. Additionally they kindly gave us a table with extra space for the prams. Food was great with a really lovely atmosphere. A great option for friends or family catching up before the theatre.
