Un des restaurants les plus réputés de Covent Garden, Maxwell's Bar & Grill a ouvert au début des années 1980 et marche encore fort. Réparti sur deux étages et jouissant d'un emplacement privilégié sur James Street au cœur de Covent Garden, Maxwell sert un menu de classiques de style américain testés et approuvés : des coupes de steaks de première qualité, des hamburgers, des « potato skins », « surf 'n' turf », du poisson frais et des salades légères. Le décor est un clin d'œil à nos amis d'outre-atlantique doté de boxes en cuir moelleux et d'enseignes au néon sur le mur. Le bar à cocktails de Maxwell est un véritable succès grâce aussi à ses barmans qui mélangent une multitude de cocktails classiques.

Great service, food and ambience, stumbled across this place last year and every time I'm back I'm London I must visit.

Fantastic food and drink- really generous portions- we were stuffed- brought my daughter out a brownie with a candle for her birthday- would definitely recommend- service was fab and staff were lovely

We really loved the cornflake fried chicken with the sriracha butter for our starters and then we had the friend chicken burger for the main! It was amazing and would definitely recommend. We have already said we want to come back and try the ribs next and the chicken wings!

This is the 4th time I've been to Maxwells, and I won't be going back I'm afraid. They have crammed so many tables in down the end of the ground floor you are elbow to elbow with everyone and you can get up without bashing someone behind you. Just one or two less tables and it will beach better. Also, the service was not very good. You get your food checked at you and when you want something else or extra, it's blooming hard work getting someone's attention. Then when you done with your food they simply forget about you!! And honestly £80 for three burgars and three soft drinks is extortionate.

Can’t fault the food or service. First time going, mac and cheese nibbles were amazing! Food was lovely, not a crumb left!

Great food and serviice. Our waitor was so kind and helped massively with our allergy concerns. However the noise levels were really high so and to shout.

This place was amazing. Friendly staff. Asked to move tables and they were very accommodating. Food was superb, perfectly cooked and hot. Cocktails were good value. Wish the discretionary tip wasn’t added but we would have left a good tip anyway as the staff and service were excellent.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Waiters were most attentive and provided great service. Food was well prepared and presented. It was a most enjoyable lunch! Thank you Maxwell’s team 🙏
