Un des restaurants les plus réputés de Covent Garden, Maxwell's Bar & Grill a ouvert au début des années 1980 et marche encore fort. Réparti sur deux étages et jouissant d'un emplacement privilégié sur James Street au cœur de Covent Garden, Maxwell sert un menu de classiques de style américain testés et approuvés : des coupes de steaks de première qualité, des hamburgers, des « potato skins », « surf 'n' turf », du poisson frais et des salades légères. Le décor est un clin d'œil à nos amis d'outre-atlantique doté de boxes en cuir moelleux et d'enseignes au néon sur le mur. Le bar à cocktails de Maxwell est un véritable succès grâce aussi à ses barmans qui mélangent une multitude de cocktails classiques.

    As always, I had a fabulous time celebrating my early Birthday, it’s sad to have to say goodbye to the lovely Kate who is leaving this weekend, but very much welcome Max who is preparing to take Maxwell’s into the future to continue its success!! My partner and I were looked after like friends and family, rather than just another customer and this is the main reason I have continued to visit and enjoyed my time at Maxwells for past 50 years from the very beginning in Hampstead in the 1970’s!

    We’d booked an early table and all had a different meal and drink. We were all very happy with our choices and the food was appropriately hot/cold when served. The thick shakes had run out which was a bit of a disappointment for me. My sister is GF and has other food intolerances.. a separate menu was brought out and explained fully which was very good. We were sat in a booth which gave us plenty of space for the three adults and a busy 4 year old! The restaurant was full bit long after we arrived, but we didn’t feel cramped and it was easy to get the attention of the waiting staff who were very helpful. Will return in the future on next visit to London.

    This was our first visit for our daughters 9 birthday. We had an excellent experience, our hostess Sophia was fantastic, helpful, knowledgeable & fun. Thank you

    Fab meal and drinks. I had the chicken fajitas- lovely Service very quick which was great as we had booked for a theatre trip

    Nice food, very efficient. Waitress very helpful, Very good with the children . The restaurant was busy but not claustrophobic even though we were in Covent Garden So very good

    Was asked if celebrating an occasion. We were, but nothing happened. Didn't see the point in telling you. Also fish and chips was not cooked right. Stomach issues since.
