Good food. Would recommend, was very busy for Valentine’s Day never got my drink I asked for.

When we got there they said they didn’t have our reservation after confirming it twice. We did get a table though.

I had never been to Max's before although I live in Auburn. I was very pleased with my meal , the waitress, and the atmosphere.

Classic large deli sandwiches, salads and cannot miss signature matzo ball soup. Glad that Auburn still have this Americana restaurant.

The buffet on Mother’s Day was absolutely delicious. Our server was so busy but he always checked on us ladies (party of 4 plus baby) and made sure we had what we needed. The buffet consisted of a huge variety of choices - and a bottomless mimosa bar!! Everything was delicious!

We really like this restaurant. While Auburn has many good places to eat, Max's is one of the few places that feels a bit "nicer". So while the food is good (if not spectacular) the service is always pleasant and attentive, the atmosphere fairly quiet, and it feels "civilized". Note: However, the bar, situated in the middle of the restaurant, can become a bit loud, in which case all bets are off. All it takes is for one lonely patron on a bar stool to be having a conversation with the bartender, and everyone in the restaurant can hear it.

We were seated immediately, and given our choice of booths. The service was fast, and the food delicious. Wine prices a bit high (lowest priced glass was $10) but a great place for s casual night out that is more quiet than most area restaurants.
