    Our waitress was very pleasant. She handled all our requests promptly and was interested in ensuring our satisfaction. The menu had many choices for everyone and the food was excellent. We all agreed we wanted to return for another meal in the near future.

    Food was great. Service was great. My youngest daughter was made comfortable with her food issues.

    The wife and I like to go to Max's, but it's obvious that they don't look at their reservations. We had reservations for 5:00 and I requested standard seating and not the bar area, but when we arrived and they found our reservation they looked in the dining room and then the just a minute, then somebody else came told her we had a reservation, she looked in the dining room and then took us to a pub table in the bar area. Was not very happy!

    This restaurant has really good food at very reasonable prices. I always get the 8 oz. Flat iron. I have probably gotten it 6 or more times and it is always cooked to perfection. My boyfriend gets seafood au gratin, and he always loves it. They also offer delicious desserts and mixed drinks. I get wine and it is offered at less than expected cost per glass for the area.

    Anna is the best bar tender. Drinks were great and so was the food.

    Absolutely no Scotch in the place at all. Got some lame excuse that they need the room on the back bar for bourbons and whiskeys. One bottle of cheap Scotch ~ none!!! Won't go back because of that. The guy said "we're making and saving room, there aren't really many Scotch drinkers in the area". Really??? Not at Max's there aren't !
