Nestled in the heart of Cleveland’s Historic Little Italy, Maxi’s embodies a vibrant atmosphere and a welcoming ambiance. We are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.

Our main level offers guests the opportunity to interact in a casual and upbeat setting or to partake in the dynamic liveliness of the bar. The cozy and intimate upstairs level seats 50 people comfortably and can be booked for events such as meetings, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, graduations, presentations and more. Our fully enclosed and heated garden patio provides a relaxed and comfortable dining experience while the sidewalk tables allow for a most spectacular view of Little Italy.

Large menu, good choices.our veal dishes were just ok, a little too tough and too many sweet red peppers. Like the ambience but next time we will try the pizza and pasta.

It was a hit night outside and the restaurant was on the warm side. A very inviting menu. Generally good food though the chicken parm was just ok. The various sauces gir idea and mussels were excellent. Service was friendly and attentive and timely. My wife loved her dessert.

The food was a disappointment. One of us had saltimbocca, the only satisfied customer. One had pizza, which was sad, uninspired. Two had pasta dishes which were mediocre. Sorry.

Spent my 30th bday at maxis over dinner on the patio and had a wonderful experience! Service and food were great, though always could do much bigger portions on my pasta lol

We enjoyed our dinner at Maxi's Bistro. It is not conventional Americanized Italian food which can be both good and bad. We had a bit of a hard time finding something that sounded good. In the end, we had Arugula Salad, Cavatelli with Meatballs and Funghi Pizza. Each were very good with the Arugula Salad being the highlight. We were seated at a very small table by the front window which is good for watching people in Little Italy, but cramped once our food arrived. Our server was young and it showed. He is was fine, but lacked polish. We ordered the salad and entrees at the same time and were only about 3/4 of the way through the salad when the entrees arrived. The pizza was large and thus took up much of the table. The table was very crowded at that point which made eating a challenge. At another point, he came to check on us, but my mouth was full. By the time, I was able to finish chewing, he had turned and walked away. A more experienced waiter pointed that out to him and he came back. Again, young and lacked polish. In the end, it was a good dinner, but we've had better.
