Server was not good. Items were forgotten and he took a long time to correct issue. Server continually created disruptions during the meal by fumbling at the table. We had to ask many times for more water which he seemed annoyed with. We felt rushed to pay so he could wrap up our table. This was not a good experience.

My lobster and seafood linguine was very good but my wife's fish and chips was not good. The fish they use was something we've never heard of but the waitress told us it was just like cod. Not even close!! My recommendation to them would be use cod, scrod or sole. We sent the fish back and ended up with a salad.

Love the covered outdoor patio. Our server was wonderful as usual. Will be back again.

We ordered the Lobster special and it was excellent. Also had drinks and apps during Happy Hour prior to our reservation. everything was great - as usual!!

Max Fish is hit or miss. We were there on Sunday June 30 and had Brendan as our server - outstanding! We enjoyed everything and the service was great! On July 4, we were surprised they were open. We ordered oysters but the server said she didn't hear us. She asked us if we wanted bread, we said yes, but had to remind her of that and coffee which my husband had asked for. The special was a boiled lobster with corn, potatoes, 2 clams and 6 mussels (4 of which were not opened). It was swimming in liquid and difficult to eat. No bib or hand cleaner. Overall a disappointment. The front desk is unfailingly pleasant and helpful. We will go back - but try to stick to slower nights.

Only issue was the guyere cheese on the burger . My wife couldn’t eat the burger even after scraping off the cheese. The owner did come over and appologize

Wonderful food and service. Love this place and come whenever I am in the area. The lobster is always good. Try the lobster bisque as well. We had the clam chowder but would go with an alternative next time. I’ve never had anything not good there but do have lobster preferences!

Always a good choice for brunch, lunch or dinner. Excellent fish and/or beef with professional service staff.

It was our first time dining at Max Fish and everything was wonderful from start to finish! Carlton was our server and he was so personable and knowledgeable, couldn’t have asked for better service! I do not drink and was so pleasantly surprised with the presentation and flavor of the purple sunshine mocktail. The food was delicious and the key lime brûlée combined my 2 favorite desserts into 1 delicious dessert. Can’t wait to go back again, thank you!
