Portugal is one of the oldest and most heralded wine regions in all of Europe, but this reputation has been built on wines and grapes that are a little less well-known to American wine consumers. But with the tremendous interest and travel to the region recently, we felt it was important to highlight some of these absolutely delicious wines, with one of the best import portfolios in the business – Grand Cru Selections. We are very excited to feature these exceptional wines as part of our September wine dinner, all paired with a menu by Executive Chef Nick Stinziani. Always a good meal. We started with a seafood tower. Our son, whose birthday we were celebrating had the duck. It was perfectly done. He always wants to try other things but the duck is so well done he always goes for it. My husband and I had the surf n turf. So delicious. Our server, Brianna was outstanding. Very attentive but not hovering or making us feel rushed. Ask to be seated in her section she will take good care of you.

We really enjoyed our food, and the service was excellent. The only issue was that it was FREEZING. It was very quiet, especially after we moved to a table below a speaker that could be turned off. Lovely place. We have been several times.

This is my favorite local restaurant. The seafood is fresh and always cooked to perfection. I love this place!

Overall, we had an amazing experience. Our waiter was very attentive. Two quick notes…we were sitting by the back entrance and the doors were opened frequently letting in mosquitoes. I left full with two mosquito bites. Also, the mussel mariana (app) had a few bad…we couldn’t finish the app. We don’t plan on ordering it again. Our entrees were delish though! We plan to return again.

Ambience was great. Food has good but I bit bland. It needed a little salt and flavor. Service was good but the waitress seems to be busy with other tables in other area so we waited a few times for water refill. Services in the hostess area was great. Overall experience was good. We had gone to other Max restaurant and the expectations for this one were high as we had that level in the other ones. We will give it another try though.

We first went to the Happy Hour - which is the best around - and then sat for dinner. We ordered the Lobster Bake special which was advertised and it was excellent at a very fair price. We love Max's and have been to Max Fish a number of times along with a couple other Max restaurants.
