Phenomenal experience. Wife and I decided to celebrate our 13 year anniversary here and the overall experience from Mathews was extraordinary. From the attention to detail, to the educated staff. Absolutely enjoyed our first time here and the entire staff was amazing. Can’t say enough about the six course meal. That was simply special! My wife and I went here for our 22nd wedding anniversary and absolutely enjoyed it. Will definitely come again. By the way, they went above and beyond with celebrating our anniversary with so much hospitality! Top notch staff and venue!

Great Service, the food was awesome! The bar is very extensive with choices of spirits you rarely find in dining spots in Jacksonville! Great for Anniversaries or Birthday dinners!

Again, an absolutely beautiful experience that rose above the rest! We visited for my cousin’s 60th birthday and had the chef’s menu. Three of the four opted to add the wine pairing with the 6 courses. As the designated driver, I had all the other beautiful beverage options of enhanced waters and coffee. Presentation and taste was simply beyond comparison! With the confirmation of reservation, Cricket and I discussed the reason for dining. Staff did not disappoint, they truly made us feel special. Won’t spoil any surprises with details! Matthew’s has the best food in the world! Presentation and service rank next! They are in a class all by themselves. Thanks again yall!

Everything at this restaurant is exceptional. The food is just amazing and our server, Jess, was outstanding. Highly recommend!

The chef’s tasting menu gives you a front row seat to the action! Great course pairings, excellent food, superb staff, and they personalize the service to really make it a special dining experience. What a gem in the Jacksonville food scene!
