The restaurant had sent me a text last Wednesday with a deal of a three course meal for $39. We had this deal before. We made reservations for Sunday. The deal was Sunday through Thursday. We were seated and I asked for the specials menu. “Oh, we changed the deal to only Tuesday through Thursday.” We walked out. Could have sent another text with the changes.

We ate at the bar. Food was nicely prepared though I had requested Branzino with crisp skin, it was anything but. Octopus and salmon carpaccio appetizers very good. Bartender was not attentive as the evening progressed, so service suffered accordingly.

The food is always good but the dinning experience was horrible!!! Our waitress was kind and tried but something was up with the kitchen. We had a 730 reservation and at 9 pm we had not been served our main course. To e clear we ordered our food with our drinks so before 745. No one came and explained why our food was late no one apologized for the delay. It’s totally unexetable to wait nearly 2 hours for our main courses and not even offer an explanation. Where was the Managment. Where was I’m so sorry. What can we do. Nothing at all and when my main course finally came it was wrong. The waitress asked to take it back but I was to hungry to potentially wait for them to remake my order. It was a very unpleasant evening not due to or waitress but clearly there was a problem in the kitchen and poor management on the front of the house. We were almost the last table in the restaurant. And still no apologies except from our poor waitress who has no control over the kitchen. Shame on you!!!

the waiter brought the wrong dish for my wife. my wife left the tip. the waitress was more interested in turning the table over fast. took dishes off the table while we were still eating. took the bread plate while i was picking up a piece. if the food wasn't so good my wife would probably not want to go back.

Celebrating our 51st wedding anniversary at Matteo’s and it was excellent. Our waiter Pretish was informative and appeared to enjoy his position. The service was prompt,food was good and the Wednesday night live entertainment topped off the evening ! Thank you Matteo’s , mille grazie !

We had a reservation at 5pm and we were not seated until almost 6pm. The service was incredibly slow and the hostess was rude. The Roslyn location is way better.

Excellent food, good portions, good service, very nicely decorated. One drawback is the noise level, it is very hard to have a conversation without shouting. It seems like you are in a crowded bar.
