Love their price fixed menu. Disappointed that they now charge $5 more for the Barata cheese appetizer. Sometimes I try something new and this visit I had the chicken Milanese and I will say I was disappointed. The cutlet was nicely breaded and fried but banged too thin it was tough to eat and not tender. The salad on top was bitter (didn’t read anything about that in the description) and there was nothing too it either. Won’t be getting this there again. But the other meal at our table the chicken marsala was delish!

The waiter spilled wine on our friends’ shorts and they did not give us anything for it. They should have given us a round of drinks or free dessert. And we realized after we left that they gave us a single portion of our dish rather than the larger portion we ordered for o share. We just thought they cut back on the portion size. We were charged for the larger size. The waiter should have noticed that

Food was OK. Price was very good, as was the service. Had asked for a quiet table. It was OK for the first 20 minutes, then a very large, noisy group was seated near us. Couldn't hear each other talk. Would not recommend unless you are looking for an inexpensive, fair dinner.

Awful all around. We waited an hour for apps that never came out as they brought out our entrees instead. I got ice cream for dessert which was literally a bowl of soup when I got it. The manager could care less & was extremely unprofessional. Beyond disappointing I will never go back.

As always, the food was delicious. Our waiter Juan was wonderful. He was polite and friendly, even remembered what we ordered previously for cocktails. Highly recommend!

We arrived on schedule and we’re given a table outside as requested. Our server, while seemingly very nice, was slow to take our order, and then very slow service in general. We had Calamari as an appetizer and it was not great, soggy and chewy. My wife had the linguine with clams (only 4 clams) my daughter had the salmon which was dry even though she ordered it medium, my other daughter had the Amatricana and said it was overcooked and didn’t taste any of the guancale. My meal was the best, meatballs and sausage with pasta and ricotta cheese. At $39 per person I can understand smaller portions but I expected better food as I was told this place was great.

Food and service were good, however we chose to sit outside and the noise from Jericho tpke, especially the motorcycles, was annoying.

Second time at Matteo’s in Huntington. Had a great experience both times. The service wasn’t perfect but overall we were still very happy
