Amazing flavours and freshness with innovative combinations. English pea warm salad, duck and beets, and the potato mousse with strawberry granita were highlights. Ambience is warm and welcoming, with a modern mid century feel and terrace with a pretty garden out back for summer nights. Shout out to Travis for attentive, but not intrusive, service.

This is my third time back (in under a month!!) so that says it all- exquisite preparation and presentation, Greg our waiter is/was fantastic and attentive to every detail, the design is beautiful and the food even better- game changer! It puts Hensonville on the map.

The staff and service were excellent. The food was OK. The food was a bit too fatty and salty and expensive. This will be a great place to go for special occasions but not for regular meals.

Hands down, the flavor, taste, and quality level of the food that Matilda serves is the absolute best in the Hudson Valley. The foodie scene has been growing by leaps and bounds over the past 5 years with new restaurants, hotels, inns, etc. I visit them all quite frequently. There is NOTHING that compares to Matilda as far as the food goes - everyone is so kind and sweet, and extremely professional. Do not sleep on this spot.
