The food is delivered to the table as it gets done so basically one dish at a time with no regard for the other diners at your table. If you are sharing sides, which was recommended, you may get one side and 20 min later you get a main dish and 10 min after that maybe a vegetable. Not to mention its incredibly uncomfortable for both the person who got food and now has to eat in front of the others or let their food get cold. I've never been in a restaurant where the chef could not time out a meal for 4 people so they could all eat hot meals at the same time. It was very odd.

Matchstick was a delightful and delicious experience. Our server was excellent. The Rissoto was very good. We both ordered the pork chop. The meat was flavorful. However, it was hidden in quite a lot of fat that was difficult to cut away. We both had the housemade ice cream. Very creamy and smooth. Loved it! Also the Moscow Mule.

Our server, Allie, was fantastic and offered valuable information on what to order. Great food and ambiance! We loved the brussel sprouts, carrots and the salad we ordered!

First time to this restaurant and a party of four. When we walked to our table the wooden floor was quite sticky. The menu is all ala carte. We were told by the waitress that the food comes out when it is ready. That meant we would not all eat together at one time. First someones french fries came out then a while before the next person's first item came out. By the time someones filet mignon came out the three of us had finished out meal. I would not go there again due to all of the above.

The restaurant was very vibrant but difficult to hear those at our table. The food was hot and flavorful and the waitress was excellent. Highly recommend.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. My only complaint is the chairs. They are lounge chairs pulled up to a regular size table. Even my 6’ 2” husband and niece found it awkward and difficult to eat. Our arms were below the tables. The silverware was very heavy and oddly shaped, making it difficult to hold. Eating at the table with your elbows stuck in your face because of the low chairs with high arm rests and the difficult silverware was a rather uncomfortable experience. Try to sit at a table with proper chairs and all will be fine.

Potato veg option was small & not worth the price. Short rib was good and could be shared. It was huge!

We’ve eaten here multiple times and generally have had a good to great experience. This time one of the issues was the order the food came out. Rather than starting with sides/apps, the first dish was the sea bass. Next came the risotto, which was ok but not as good as it’s been previously. The pork chop came next and was very hard to share/eat, was not a ‘small plate’ and didn’t appear to be done. Last came the brussel sprouts, which were good but they would have been much better if they arrived first. I appreciate the ability to now make a reservation but it may be a while before we return.

We tried several different things on the menu. Short ribs were chewy and lacked any flavor other than an OVERWHELMING smoky flavor but not a slow cooked smoky flavor more like an entire bottle of Liquid Smoke flavor. Fish Tacos, tried one bite the fish was so over fried we couldn't actually tell if there was fish inside of the rock hard batter ball and again with an overwhelming artificial smoky flavor. The asparagus risotto, potatoes and seabass were good but not so good that I would go back. The best thing on the menu is the chocolate gnache.....It was delicious! The atmosphere looks wise is nice but it was so loud we could barely hear each other. In the end between dinner drinks and dessert we spent just short of $400, it just wasn't worth it.
