We had a great experience here for our 15th anniversary. We arrived 10 minutes early and were told there would be a short wait, which we expected. A short time after our reservation time, the manager came over to apologize to say our table was not ready, but he could seat us at a larger table if that was okay with us. We were fine with it and the manager comped our drinks due to the "inconvenience'". Absolutely not necessary, but it was really appreciated. As a pregnant lady, their mocktails were very good, even my husband thought it was better than his drink. The food, service, and ambiance was also fantastic. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying out their lovely patio in the warmer months. I highly recommend Matchstick to anyone looking for good food and drinks in a quiet atmosphere.

Food was good (not awesome), drink (non alcoholic blueberry) was very good. We were seated by the hotel entry hall, so it was weird seeing people come and go. Food, as described, came out as items were ready, which was weird. I received an entree, then a shared plate and finally the other entree. Overall will not likely be back for a nice dinner out here.

It was the perfect night. Our table for four was positioned by the open door and the weather was 75 degrees bliss. Service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. It was cozy and most wonderful. All of our appetizers were devoured, and all of our entrees were ooohs and auuughs and simply delicious. It was my first time there with friends that frequent Matchstix often, as one of their "go-too places." We will be going there yet again this autumn and winter. It's a totally lovely experience! Thank you!

Great restaurant in Stillwater, the food, ambiance and service are all excellent! Not to be missed by wine and whiskey lovers a like.

Excellent food and service from our server as well as manager. Portions were much larger than I would describe “small plates”. Plates were a great value and delicious. We would definitely return and recommend!

We decided to go on our anniversary. They did not disappoint! The food was excellent and was prepared fresh, and the service was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend for a night out.

It was a little speedy but we'll worth it. The Sea Bass was amazing! Staff were really friendly. The noise level was a little loud.

We went here for my birthday dinner and everything was incredible. Michelin star quality, for sure! Isaac was our server and he took excellent care of us with recommended pairings. We will likely come back to Stillwater just to have dinner at Matchstick. A destination spot to put on your list!

reminiscent of tasty fusion cooking. Had the pineapple jerk chicken, pork chops and roasted brussel sprouts. Food and service were great. Somewhat difficult to carry on a conversation with the noise on a Friday night.
