Comfortable dining areas featuring wood tabletops, leather banquettes, and raised booths, as well as a spacious bar area and flexible seating for large groups further emphasize the welcoming, energetic atmosphere that matchbox is known to cultivate at each restaurant. When we seat outside, there was a homeless person right out front of the restaurant. Not a good look.

What was planned to be a lovely reunion with a longtime colleague, turned into a blaring music, exceedingly slow service and mediocre food. The band playing on the patio was way too loud. There was no where inside the restaurant where you could hold a conversation given the volume of the band. The service was exceedingly slow, and the restaurant was very sparsely populated. The food was ugh! Won’t be back.

We ordered the Veggie pizza with the pear and walnut salad for our dinner. The meal was delish and our server, “Red” was a delight!

There was a live bug in one of our Cesar salads. We informed the server and returned our salads. Our entrees were already ordered and were bug free as far as we could tell. When it was time for the bill. The server told us they took the salads off of our bill. It was not the severs fault. A manager should have addressed the situation with offered additional support.

Service was good. Our waiter was attentive and so was the manager. We went for brunch and the brunch was good for a good price. We will be back.

The dining tables look like they belong in a dive bar - very ininviting. The server - while very sweet - made a couple of “interesting” mistakes. And the manager had zero interest in accommodating a simple request. And I mean simple. Won’t go back. Will take my business to Copper Canyon.

The food in general was good, but not as good as I remembered. We got the bacon bianca and it barely had enough of the toppings on there. The crispy calamari was pretty good, but the tartar sauce was a bit sour even though we didn't put lemon in. The guavarita was really good though.
