   I’ve been at this restaurant many times and was disappointed with the brunch! It took 15 to 20 minutes to get our first beverage in the bottomless brunch, so determined that it wasn’t worth it given. It took so long to get the first beverage! I think the staff was overwhelmed with the number of bottomless brunch and drinks that they forgot to check on the table and even refill our water. The food was delicious, not sure if I will go back for brunch?!

   I’m not one to write reviews but geez. I’ve been to matchbox before for brunch and enjoyed it. Took friends here for brunch and was so embarrassed. It was awful. They started a new “unlimited brunch” where they force everyone to pay $35 and have weird buffet stations. You can still order items from the menu but it took forever to get a server to take our orders. When my food came they cut the portions in half (one egg, 1 small sausage link, and maybe 5 potato cubes) and the food was subpar. The server was so hard to track down so it was basically impossible if you wanted to order more. It wasn’t even that busy for such bad service. Coffee/drinks aren’t included in that $35 either. They gave one of our dishes to the wrong table. Had to track down the waitress to get them to remake our food. I will not be coming back. Absurd

   I enjoyed the tuna tartar, that was very good. The salads were fresh and tasted fine. My wife ordered the ribs and I had a spicy meatball pizza. Both were OK, not great, we would have liked to taste more flavor from each. Both were a little bland.

   Been many times to Matchbox and always enjoyed it…good and restaurant. This was the first time the food was absolutely inedible..,had the seared tuna salad which had always been excellent. What I got was inedible…the tuna was a dark brown and the one taste o had was terrible…did not eat any of it. The waiter removed my plate at the end of my meal and never even asked, The waiter was terrible.,,the restaurant was far from crowded and he would just disappear for long periods of time. When I faked for coffee he didn’t bring any spoons nor cream. Never came by throughout our 2 hours to afk if everything was okay or if we wanted refills. Horrible service and even worse food..,

   Be careful of bench seating along high-top tables. One our our party fell trying to get down because of unexpected step. When we asked for a first aid kit one of staff said “I’ll get it but it’s usually empty.” Manager was not helpful. He would not give his full name and kept us from leaving until forms were filled out.

   We did not have a reservation and they told us 30 minute wait so we went on Open Table to reserve and got a table right away. There were many empty tables. Service was meh. Salad came with dressing when we asked for it on the side, no cutlery, no water even after requested and we weren’t checked on during the meal or offered dessert.

    There was a hair in one of our meals. The Manager never addressed the issue and had we not checked our bill, the waiter would have charged us twice for remaking the gross meal.
