We’re the neighborhood gathering place for fun, upscale casual dining, with local, award-winning beers, broad spectrum wines, and handcrafted signature cocktails you won’t find anywhere else.

Overlooking Strawberry Park in the vibrant Mosaic District, our 40-seat patio offers outdoor dining and front row seats to Angelika Film Center’s outdoor screen and prime people-watching.

Inside, exposed pipes and warm brick line the walls surrounding 220 seats, all with views of the glowing wood wall, reclaimed from barn-wood from Rochester, New York. The private Barrel Room accommodates 50 guests and comes with plush booths, a wood-burning fireplace and private wine coolers to store your favorite vintages.

Tuesdays are now the best day ever at matchbox! Kids 10 and under get a free 10" cheese pizza with the purchase of any adult entree when you dine in for lunch or dinner on Tuesdays. What a great way to enjoy a meal with your family! Limitations: Dine in only. One free kids' pizza per adult entree, 14" pizzas, burgers, or protein salads. There is a charge for additional pizza toppings.

Food is just so/so. Some items are better than others. Watch out for undercooked pizza toppings.

Server was absent. Had to track him down at least 3 times for basic things that should’ve been brought with the meal or already on the table. Because I had two kids aged 8 and 11 they stuck us in a room way in the back of the restaurant with a bunch of other families with poorly behaved children. It was loud and there were tantrums all around us while my two kids sat in shock at how badly the other kids were acting. Very difficult to have any conversation with my kids let alone enjoy my food. And the food was not great. Mini burgers looked like two golf ball sized hockey pucks. Burned to a crisp. My pizza was a wet soggy mess. Yeah definitely a waste of time and money

Food was great except for burger which hd no taste. Our first table was near the front door and it was so cold you could not sit there without a coat. The manager was great and moving us to a new table.

Perfect spot for a casual birthday breakfast with family. The restaurant is very kid- and family-friendly. Our server was amazing and very attentive, especially to my gluten allergy.

The food and service were great. I brought some guests here from out of the country and they enjoyed the food. Will come back again.

Good start with the staff noting the request for a quiet table for two and finding a good locatio. Service was slow but friendly. Waitress noted it was a birthday but restaurant did nothing like offer a dessert or describe any specials. Calamari was overly crisp. Salads were decent. Pasta was overly salty with too much oregano. Crab cake was too salty. Overall the food was over-priced given the quality. Waitress forgot to bring the itemized bill - just took the card. Would not return if given the choice.
