Our server was great. Food and drinks were excellent. We came to celebrate a birthday and I had specifically wrote in the instructions for an intimate table preferably upstairs where it would be more quiet. They did not tell me until bringing us to a high top table that upstairs was closed and no other shorter tables were available. I would've appreciated the communication early on in the morning when they called to confirm that they were not able to accommodate my request. We checked in at 7:30 for our reservation and did not get sat until 7:50. It was definitely a frustrating start to the evening. Although, rather upset, our server did a great job making the rest of the night go smooth. Overall, a disappointing start communication wise with the host and manager on floor but thank you to our server for saving the night!

Mastro's has great steak options and appetizers for your culinary needs. Steaks are cooked to perfection and sides are diverse enough to keep things interesting. Restaurant has two levels which gives plenty of space for larger parties or an intimate dinner setting. I will be back - only issues is parking. If you want to park close it's 20 bucks or more. Great local option for steaks and chops.

Come here for business meetings and special occasions. Today's service was poor. They sat us near the restrooms and an exit door. Our server came to check on us once. The wait for our $31 each sushi rolls we both ordered took forever. The staff filling our water was very attentive. If only our waitress could have made some effort for the cost of lunch.

Is my third time at Mastros . Is my favorite steakhouse . This time I tried lobster mashed potatoes and asparagus. We ordered tomahawk! (We shared ) . The dinner was really good. Good taste. Excellent ambience and service !

I had a great time at Mastro's. The service was excellent and the food tasted great. The presentation of the food was also pretty nice. I would recommend coming here if you wanted a high end Steakhouse. They also accommodated my wife's gluten allergy and she had a great time as well. Mastro's is now on my list of top steakhouses in the Bay.

I brought my Dad here to celebrate his and my birthday and I was very disappointed with the service and food quality. The worst Mastro’s experience I’ve had.

I went here for my birthday and I received the best service I have ever received. The manager, Michael King made my birthday so special. he took care of us when i reservation was 20 minutes delayed. the server, Rushawn, and his team, provided exceptionally service. I have gone to the Mastro in Orange County and Vegas, and the Santa Clara location had provided me the best experience at Mastro. I truly appreciate it.

Food was not how I remembered from the last time I was at this restaurant. Everything was just ok, and certainly not worth the price. Last visit the steak was already cut, and was much thicker, this visit, the steak was thin and left as, which was fine, but not how it was in the past. The Brussel sprouts were very dry, and felt overcooked. The lobster bisque was a big let down, not all the way hot and flavor was just ok. We went for my husbands birthday because we have been in the past and the deserts were so memorable - serving cheesecake, butter cake and chocolate covered strawberries with homemade whipped cream; this visit was only cheesecake. My husband and I just noticed how our expectations were not met this visit. Everything felt like it was a chain - not an upscale restaurant. We probably wont be back.
