Too expensive. But the foods are good. And the service is above and beyond. Different server got our orders and different person served our foods.

Our first time at Mastro's to celebrate a milestone birthday and it was such a great experience. Our server, Evan, was awesome! We had kids in our party but he did not flinch at all. Some places it would intimidate or annoy the server but Evan was so great and so helpful. 5 star for Evan, 5 star for the experience, 5 star for the food.

Best steak house in Silicon Valley in my opinion. The food is consistently good and the staff is very professional. I have have become somewhat of a regular, especially for lunch and the staff treats their customers with great care. Not inexpensive, but a good value.

Went for my birthday. Wonderful my only complaint is they need clearer directions as to where they are. I actually got lost

Steak was requested medium rare, but served bright blue. Upon asking, the staff informed us that steaks are deliberately undercooked and served on exceptionally hot plates where they continue to cook. If we are meant to cook our own steaks, 1) why bother asking us how we'd like it? And 2) why even go to a steakhouse and pay a cook not to cook our steaks?

Australian wagyu steak was overcooked and then when we got another one refired, it was undercooked. The steak was sliced before it was served to us so the chef clearly saw it was not cooked correctly and still served it to us - twice. The manager asked if we wanted a hot plate and cook the steak to our liking, but we didn't pay $195 for a steak to cook it ourselves at a steakhouse. All we got was a free butter cake, but we had lost our appetite long before that and barely had any.
