    From the moment we were welcomed into Mastro’s we knew this place was special. The decor is dark , a seat near the window which looks out to the beautiful canals. Our drink orders taken within minutes the specials were relayed to us in fine detail. The unlimited bread basket for $5.00 great concept. We didn’t get through one basket… My Girlfriend ordered Chilean Sea Bass with asparagus . I ordered the 24 oz Porterhouse medium rare with white mac and cheese in an iron skillet. The main course arrived in perfect timing. The sea bass was off the charts, tender, fresh and wonderful deep taste. A small net around the lemon so the seeds don’t fall onto your main course. The asparagus was flavored and it was the skinny asparagus the way we love it. The Porterhouse was cooked to perfection it had deep flavor cooked perfectly at medium rare. One of the best i ever had the plate comes out sizzling as does your Porterhouse…. Well Done. The General Manager came over and introduced himself to us . He was extremely polite. The desert recommendation was the warm butter cake. We shared this and my lord it was fantastic. Butter cake, Vanilla Ice Cream, strawberries and slices of peach. And to top it off the cake was warm… Outstanding piece of cake.. one last thing it may be mundane to most but a regular cup of coffee was a truly a treat. If you are in town for a special dinner or just in the mood for some wonderful food you have to go to Mastro’s..

    The ambiance sitting outside on the deck overlooking the inter-coastal makes for a special dining experience. Service was great. The crab cake and the sushi were outstanding. Drinks were delicious and strong. I’ve had better steaks but, the ambiance makes up for that.

    Good was ok. Don’t think I will be back. Service was meh certainly didn’t match the price of the restaurant. Had the butter cake which was delish.

    We have gone to Mastro’s many times. We love the food. The live music the last two times has been extremely loud outside. You go to enjoy the view and ambiance of being on the water and unfortunately the speakers are blasting everywhere.

    Dinning in Mastro was a great experience. The food and service were excellent. We had dinner in a very nice doc table with great view and great sunset. I strongly recommend Silvia
