Everything was great, the customer service, food, and drinks! This is actually one of the best Maestro’s I done at the Houston and Woodlands location often.

The waiter in beginning started out great with service and help us picked out a wine for my partner to choose to drink for her birthday, it was her first time at Downtown LA location. We got two seafood starters, both great. Our main dish we shared as a 32 oz tomahawk steak, she asked for medium. It was more medium well and didn’t dare to ask to remake it , since some pieces was medium , she ate that while I ate the well cooked ends or the pieces that was well done. We also got two sides: spinach and artichoke, was great. But towards end of night , he wasn’t as attentive since he have to handle other table. This was my fourth time here and had excellent service from the waiter always checking on us and topping off our vegetables. I even had to flag a guy with a suit to refill my water. I did book for “birthday” and they forgot it was for her birthday. Waiter did say they can give cheesecake on the house and we also order a butter cake (excellent) but I had to make sure they wrote happy birthday on the plates. When the bill came at the end, we end up getting charging for the free cheesecake. I had to ask him nicely about it, the waiter did say sorry and will remove it. Dinner started out great but kinda fell short at the end. I been to Beverly Hills and Vegas location and always had a great time but was hoping her first experience was going to be awesome. Thanks for the dinner but just wanted to share my experience in hopes for better improvement for your team. Thanks for reading. My reservation was Peter 7/19 7:15pm

Mastros is always great only issue with this location is the $40 self parking. Beware.

I had only been to other Matros location and first time visiting the DTLA one but enjoyed it. Food was great, service was good. Because it is on a Main Street, the eel of noise was a little loud . Other than that, we had a great time.
