    Went there for our 30th wedding anniversary. I ordered bone in ribeye medium, came out raw, returned unevenly cooked over seasoned and chewy. Manager and waitress handled it well and took it off the bill.

    We received outstanding food and service at Mastros! The steaks were cooked perfectly and the dessert was probably the best we’ve ever had. Our server gave us amazing recommendations. We will be returning in the future.

    Fabulous experience and service. Great location. Sushi very fresh, inventive sides for a steak house. Very special place.

    I have dined at Mastro’s across the country. This is the first time in Boston. Creatures of habit, we ordered the same thing that we always do. The ribeye was lukewarm when it came out and the plates that typically come out at 400 degrees were cold. The plates allow for a nice little added sear when they are hot. Very disappointed with this location.

    I have been to Mastros before and was surprisingly disappointed at this time specially because I had people from outside state visiting , first we waited 45 min from our reservation time to be seated , people ( host , manager ) kept telling us that our table would be ready soon and that the couple payed but was still there , then finally after 45 min we sat , food came and the best thing out of everything we ordered was the lobster bisque , they didn’t know I am a chef , Personal Chef , work for high profile families ,athletes and celebrities , The branzino was overcooked , my boyfriends Bone in Ribeye was undercooked , he asked for medium rare it was rare and tasteless, my niece filet mignon was hard to cut ( which is kind hard to do with a filet mignon ), our salads were just blend … oh and Mac and cheese super dry , like no sauce , I don’t know what are they doing now at Mastros but I was disappointed and I don’t usually write reviews unless they are good because I know how hard it’s to serve and meet everyone’s expectations at all times but I feel like I had to so something so other people are aware .
