Had a reservation and still waited 30 minutes to be seated. Very bright and loud, no ambiance. Food was good, not great, waitress was excellent.

Extremely loud downstairs, couldn’t hear our waitress half the time she came over nor each other. Food was great, drinks were fine. Overall a good spot, but there are better places in the North End.

We had a large party of ten people. We were fairly squished together, which was unfortunate because there was a table of 2 next to us that could have been easily moved. I had made the reservation a week or so in advance so they were aware we were coming. The appetizers were very good and the service was outstanding. The biggest issue was the fruit flies! They were everywhere, which was unappealing. My husband ordered a Bourbon and it was filled with flies. There were also flies in our wine. The Cacio e Pepe was the hit of the evening.

Packed in like sardines, unbearable noise level, very sub par food all around. At least 50 better places in a 10 min radius.

Always love it there. You feel like you’re in your nana’s kitchen. Love the meatball appetizer and all the other food. We go there for every show at the TD Garden.

Where to begin -- let's start with outstanding. From the front door to the server, service was fantastic. The server was patient and polite, walked us through all choices. Bread and olive oil and seasoning was light and very delicious. Bread fresh of course. For appetizers, we had fried burrata, fried artichokes, and bruschetta. They came out quickly, were hot and very good. The burrata had a nice crunch to the outside. Artichokes where soft and delicate. Onto the entrees -- eggplant parm, fusilli and Bolognese sauce and pappardelle and vegetable with a creamy tomatoe sauce. All three were huge portions of well executed food. For dessert was coffees and a cannoli and tiramisu. Again, both were superb. The best was the service. The service person was outstanding. She really made us feel at home. I'd very much add Massimino's to your list of must eat restaurants in Boston.

I did booking in advance. When I arrived I waited for table 20 min . It’s very tiny restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was so so .
