We have been many times for a Sunday roast. It is always yummy. You get a good size portion of everything, including the meat.

Lovely food and staff friendly. Good value for money the roast portions were excellent even the child’s portion.

We had a lovely Father's Day lunch at The Masons Arms - good, varied menu choices; great food; good value for money and all of the staff were really friendly and helpful. This was our first visit & I hope that we will return!

The restaurant cancelled our booking 30mins before we were due to arrived, the restaurant knew this days before. I'M NOT VERY HAPPY Disappointed Gerry Udell.

We like the Masons Arms and usually have a very good meal in there. On this occasion, we booked a Valentine's special which has far far below the usual standard. IT was a disgrace. A nice piece of cod with chopped boiled potaties (??). Tasteless starter and Sainsbury's deserts (or that's what it appeared). I feel we paid extra for far less quality. Will be thinking twice about doing that again.

Warm welcome from the 3 young men who seemed to be running the place! Meals did take a long time to come, meat was ok (beef despite being served with gravy over was cold and I had already heard someone else say the same) roast potatoes were lovely and plentiful and lots of veg. We weren’t offered dessert when they’d cleared our mains, when asked they did then take our orders but came back to say the oven was switched off so they could only do ice cream! It was 3pm on a Sunday and there were other tables still eating!! Unfortunately this has put us off returning as this was very poor customer service and you need to take down the signs saying to leave room for dessert!!

Food was poor and disappointing. Advertised ‘homemade’ steak and ale pie was in fact cheap shop brought pie, chips were just scraggly ends of a chip bag! Burger was cheap and just tasted of grease. Couldn’t get out quick enough. Very disappointing

Great staff, fantastic food, great service, and very reasonably priced. Will certainly be back it is now our favourite place to go when celebrating.
