We were disappointed and probably will not return. The food was pretty, but the taste was lackluster. Ambiance was loud and service was poor.

Almost inedible food. Music was blaring and lighting could have been used to do surgery. Never again.

The food we ordered was good. The guacamole was very fresh and I’d order that again in a heartbeat. The chicken tortilla soup was best I’ve had in any Mexican restaurant with lots of flavor and chicken so I’d order that again. The fajita dish was ok, light on the meat portion and the tortillas should be “fajita” size and not burrito size, then cut in half. The birria burrito was very tasty. The music was too loud and made it hard to hear the staff. Service from kitchen was slow so we had to wait for 30 minutes for our dinner order. I’ll give them one more try and hope the kitchen staff can move through the orders more efficiently.

Only 1 waiter was doing his job, the other two ladies were seemingly doing anything but waiting on tables. 15 minutes for water, almost 30 minutes to order. Very disorganized. One of the male waiter's tables arrived several minutes after us, also ordered tacos like we did, and had left before we got our food. The restaurant had changed the menu recently and our waitress wasn't familiar with it at all. The tacos we ordered apparently came with drinks (menu did not state this) so as we were already sipping on mojitos (after waiting 20 minutes for them, and they weren't busy), the waitress came back and said she had to give us the drinks that came with the meal. We were confused but went ahead and ordered two fountain drinks. Our child already had lemonade but that wasn't included, but she said she would include it anyway. We still ended up paying for his drink. Overall, the food was good although it didn't match the menu description (my crispy carnitas tacos were delicious but not crispy at all, actually wet enough that the tortilla fell apart). The music was very loud, you almost had to yell and we had trouble hearing the waitress. The whole experience was very disappointing.

Our first time here and we ran into the wonderful bartender Mr. Lee!!! What an entertainer!! The drinks were made with mad passion, delicious and came with history on each one made. - blue label (neat) -passion fruit jalapeño margarita -G4 -tiramisu bday shots Unfortunately, they were out of pork chops and salmon but the service was amazing! Good job guys. We’ll be back!

Where do I start? Let’s start with the positives, the staff at Mas Fuego was very kind and nice. The ambiance of the restaurant was upbeat and energetic. The atmosphere was very lively. The negatives. The service was subpar for a couple of reasons. It took just over 30 minutes to have our order taken. My wife’s dish was not available and we were not told until my son and myself were served. The food was subpar for the price we paid. The chips and salsa were ok. The salsa was definitely store bought. The steak I ordered although cooked perfectly was of subpar quality. There was nothing fusion about it. The potatoes and broccoli that came with it were bland. The same could be said for my son’s Macaroni and cheese. It was straight out of a Kraft Mac N Cheese box, and matched nothing of the description. The drinks were made really well, and had not complaints there. The manager was nice enough to present us with a free margarita for the issues we were having with trying to get my wife some food. He was nice and professional however came with a boatload of excuses of why everything was going wrong. I mean it was a Friday night, not being prepared for a busy night of the week is terrible. When making a reservation we were asked if it was for a special occasion. We wanted to celebrate our 10 year anniversary at Mas Fuego, because of the reviews, however Mas Fuego under performed. None of the staff we interacted with knew about our celebration. So why bother asking if you’re not going to acknowledge it. We ended up celebrating the following day at another restaurant and made up for the bad experience at Mas Fuego.
