Family owned and operated for over 50 years, the restaurant is housed in one of America's oldest homes and features a romantic courtyard setting and numerous quaint dining rooms.

Mary Mahoney's Old French House serves lunch and dinner six days a week and offers a variety of appetizers including our famous Broiled Crab Claws, Fried Soft Shell Crabs, Charbroiled Oysters and Shrimp and Lump Crabmeat Seafood Gumbo. Signature dishes served at Mary Mahoney's Old French House include Queen Ixolib, Fresh Fish of the Day topped with Lump Crabmeat, Sisters of the Sea Au Gratin and Shrimp and Lump Crabmeat Melba. Service was great except a coke refill did take ten minutes, food was good but expensive ,loved the house and the grounds. The home made ranch dressing was the best I’ve had anywhere. We won’t go back though, $22 for a handful of fried shrimp and fries is unreasonable.
