Well we gave it our 3rd try for the Marsh Tavern Falcon Tavern $15 weekly special and again the food was unacceptable. It was Burger night and both burgers ordered were not prepared well. One was only half cooked. And this time the service was as slow as our first visit. And we felt like the server was ignoring us. We are locals so based on our 3 experiences we will not be going back again.

As a long time Winter resident of Manchester the Marsh Tavern/Chop House has been a staple in our weekend itinerary. It has been several years and the Marsh Tavern was phenomenal as always. The Tavern/Falcon Bar holds the fondest memories of my godfather and I am already booking my next trip back

We went (4) to enjoy Tuesday night $15 BBQ on Nov 5. Disappointedly 3 out of 4 of our meals were awful. The 2 Brisket orders was way overcooked and the Pulled Pork had very little edible meat. Maxine our waitress offered another serving which was bad too. We were offered to order something else but declined. Maxine handle the situation very well for us .We were not charged for the meals we could not eat and not charged for our 4 drinks. However, we left very disappointed as we went our first time for BBQ on Oct 8th which was delicious and is why we came again. We did learn that the Chef was different than our first visit so we may consider going again and will certainly request Maxine as our waitress if we do.

The Marsh Tavern is pricey but the food was good. I had the bolognese special and the pasta tasted like it was made in house. My husband and daughter had the filet with asparagus and potatoes and said it was cooked perfectly. The server was really sweet and attentive. The dessert was really delicious as well. I had the bread pudding and my daughter had the warm cookie on a skillet with ice cream. Overall, we had a wonderful dinner here and would recommend it to anyone coming to visit the sweet town of Manchester, VT

We made reservations for the Marsh Tavern but were seated in the Falcon Bar instead and told that Marsh Tavern was only for overflow. Our reservation was for 6:30. By 6:35 people were seated in Marsh Tavern—while we were stuck in a noisy cramped bar that we didn’t request. When we questioned the wait staff—they said we were not the first to be unhappy with the policy and that we should complain to hotel management.

The absolute worse service hands down !! We had to ask several times for utensils.. by the time they came.. the food was cold. He didn’t once check in to see is we needed anything at all including beverages.
