                  Food was not up to par… dried out steaks and the Bouillabaisse was thick and under spiced, had to add salt. Fish was over cooked and rubbery. Oysters were great!

                  Good and interesting food. Good service. Gets unpleasantly loud when at full capacity.

                  Our table was pretty crappy. We had a reservation for 2 and I’m sure there weren’t a lot of options but it was right next to the stand where servers print their checks, get the silverware etc. In fact, we were close enough to have done those very things ourselves. Our server was very nice and the food was excellent which was probably more important. Just hated our seating. Very uncomfortable to sit at the banquet bench which was very deep and had no pillows to lean on. Had to sit up straight with no support for the time we were there.

                  Our pre-theater dinner at Marseille was great. The portions were not large, but certainly adequate and very delicious. I absolutely love their edamame hummus appetizer. Our waiter was very attentive and sensitive to our time constraints.

                  Oysters were great. Onion soup lacked flavor, just mediocre, couscous also mediocre. Staff seemed to have forgotten us after we ordered wine. Had to stop a waitperson and ask for service. Explanation was that there was a shift change. Didn't seem to affect the other tables around us who had arrived after us. Really a big disappointment as we had so looked forward to enjoy a good dinner. Will not recommend and will not return.

                  Staff very accommodating and food is always good.. I was with a group of 9 and our waitstaff was wonderful. I always recommend.

                  Marseille is a go to when in the theatre district and it usually doesn’t disappoint. However, on Sunday, July 23rd, we were really let down. Our server was inexperienced. The duck confit was so well done it crunched and the meat was burned off. The beans and the sauce were off too - overcooked and dark brown. What happened? The bread was unusually rubbery and dry and the air conditioning, on a very hot day was non-existent. The escargot was very good and the bouillabaisse was decent.
