“just the one” after work, Marquis of Lorne is a pub for all occasions.

Whether you’re after your new local haunt or looking to host a special
event, expect a cosy atmosphere with friendly staff and a menu that will
keep you coming back time and time again.

We dined with someone who has had everything on the menu including the new lamb chop dish. He can recommend any of the dishes. I had the trout in Hollandaise sauce, which was different than expected but still fantastic Thx 2 Atticus for his attentive service and Max for suggesting the Marquis The tall blond barmaid was also very helpful

As always, great food, excellent attentive staff and warm and friendly ambiance. Best value steak night in Melbourne including best tasting steak!

Fathers Day dinner at this buzzing local. Lovely staff, food was great, pricing reasonable. Overall lovely experience highly recommend

Excellent Tues steak special. Cooked to perfection ! Wonderful ambience; love the fireplace. Entree of Lamb rib was tender melt in your mouth stuff with perfect mint sauce. Grilled halloumi is also a winner.

Love this idea place ! Such a homely cheery vibe, intelligent cheery unassuming staff who know their stuff and look after us so well, and delicious healthy creative meals crafted carefully with true dedication. The Marquis is a true escape , and I wholeheartedly recommend this fabulous little pub. I hope it’s never sold and refurbished because the formula is spot on !

What a great local - it was jam packed but with a nice vibe! Delicious food and attentive friendly service with dietary requirements well met and nothing a problem! Great wine and an all round excellent experience.
