It was okay overall. We booked a few days before and asked for there to be space for a pram. This wasn’t provided. The service was super slow and one of our food orders was incorrect. It was a nice place and reasonably priced but the service was a let down

Great Friday night dinner with friends after a long week. Sure food and wine. Service excellent with lovely interaction from staff.

Fantastic staff and food. Very friendly, great food and the best pie I have had in a long time. Would highly recommend!

Food was pretty nice (although there were multiple items missing) but the service was really bad. It took 45 minutes to even order our Sunday roast and then another 45 minutes to get the food (and an extra half hour wait for one person at our table whose food they seemed to forget). Missing Yorkshire puddings and cauliflower cheese but we didn’t think it was worth even complaining at that point. The staff were all really stressed and clearly under staffed. One woman was literally crying behind the bar

The food was brought out at completely different times. Most had finished by the time the final person received their meal. We had to keep prompting to get drinks ordered. The bill was wrong.

The food was nice, but the service was very poor. They were clearly understaffed but there was no apology or explanation to customers. We waited over an hour for food, had to constantly go up to he bar and ask for drinks and updates on our order.

Great pub, good food. Lovely staff but service could be improved. We booked a table of 10 for a roast weeks in advance, on arriving there wasn’t a table ready for us and they said they’d have to add chairs rather than having the restaurant area set up. Drinks service was really slow, maybe short staffed for this day but not ideal. The food was lovely, but we were served the first roast on its own, the second roast about 10 minutes later. The last food order arrived around 30 minutes after. We were told there were only 2 chefs on, but a little frustrating when we came out for an organised meal together. Overall great pub and nice food, would visit again. Could do with being a bit better organised or not serving as large tables. If we were walk ins I could understand the wait.
