This was our first time eating at Marlow's Tavern and after our experience we will definitely be back. We started with the asparagus fries, their tavern chips, and the Cuban spring rolls. The asparagus fries were crunchy, breaded just enough so you can still taste the asparagus. The Tavern Chips were amazing - what we really loved is they layered the chips and topping, so you had enough gorgonzola cheese and goodies for all of the chips. The portion was enough that 4 people could share. The Cuban spring rolls were stuffed with pork and had great flavor. My favorite were the sea bass tacos - amazing! They were full of perfectly cooked sea bass, and I liked that they were separately cooked pieces rather than one long strip of fish. You get two tacos, but they are plenty. My son ordered the Royale burger - and they made it the black and blue style for him. I don't do rare, so I will take his word that it is a fabulous burger - lol. I can tell you it was juicy - watching it drip while he enjoyed it - and they did not spare the toppings. If you want a cocktail get the Grapefruit Ricky - refreshing and I love that it does not have a strong alcohol taste. And ask for CJ - he was accommodating, knew the menu to offer suggestions, was at the table just enough to let us know he was around - but not hovering. His service was the cherry on the top of our overall experience. Thank you Marlow's for an amazing dining experience - we will absolutely be back!

It was a good experience. We had an efficient waitress. Food came out hot and timely. The reception desk at front is odd to walk into and bathrooms needed tidying a bit but overall a pleasant experience.

Our server dropped the ball on us and several times we had to ask someone else get get him for us. But other than that it was great.

The only reason I’m not giving it a five star is because the service wasn’t that great this time. We frequent Marlow’s a lot, maybe they were just off this day we didn’t get our drinks refilled, we never had our plates set on the table when we ordered appetizers, when the food came out, we didn’t have any other condiments that were supposed to come with it and then the server came with them more than 20 minutes later. Never did a check back on us right after the food got dropped off so service was a little off this time.

I love the chicken stack. My dining companions all got the shrimp and grits. Great that they offer a gluten free option. Everyone enjoyed their food. Kettle chips for appetizer were well prepared. I'm not a fan of gorgonzola cheese but they were very crispy and yummy.

The Jalapeño Shrimp and Grits were incredible (you can ask for these as opposed to the white cheddar grit cakes) as was the Parmesan Crab dip. Asparagus Fries also very good. The Prime sandwich used to be fantastic but the last couple of times it has just been ok. Not what you want when you order a $20 sandwich - mushy bread, etc. Our server was very nice. A little slow on the entrees coming out and waiting 5+ minutes to pay the bill after our carry-out containers had already been packed up. Would dine there again, though.
