Le Marlowe est un bistro de quartier occupant un espace rustique, chic et accueillant. Les saveurs vives et audacieuses d'un chef triplement étoilé et un peu d'histoire familiale créent un nouveau concept de restaurant niché dans le quartier chic de SoMa, à San Francisco. Le Marlowe a été créée par le restaurateur Anna Weinberg, accompagnées de quelques partenaires et amis. Proposant un menu de plats de bistro classiques très appréciés avec une touche unique et savoureuse, le chef exécutif du Marlowe, Jennifer Puccio, qui s'est vue décerner trois étoiles par le San Francisco Chronicle pour sa cuisine à Cortez, a créé un mélange d'en-cas, d'apéritifs, de plats et d'accompagnement composé du genre de la nourriture qu'elle aime manger quand elle ne travaille pas.

We stopped in before the Giants game. Our server was fantastic, delicious food and drink. Will be back.

The menu focuses on meats and seafood. Their burger is top-rated. I had a special vegan entree: polenta with mushrooms and arugula. We arrived early for our reservation, before the dinner menu was available. We had a salad and coffee while waiting for 5:00, when dinner became available and when we were seated earlier than scheduled.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. My husband loves the burger! He will order it every time. I love the fact that you can order as a “share” for the table.

Place was not busy but their staff was all over the place. We had to follow up on our cocktails and food. Spacing of food was inconsistent

We popped in for a bite before a concert at Oracle Park. What a darling place—loved the vibe and decor. We had cocktails, shared a burger and fries—delicious. It was a tad warm in the restaurant (which is rare for San Francisco) but the icy cocktails helped us cool down. We will be back—enjoyed the experience!

The restaurant is beautiful but crazy loud. It was very challenging to hear the other members of our group. Service was fine but not overly friendly.

I've been a few times in the past but this visit was a bit different! The restaurant is beautiful, we were seated right away but service was really struggling! They were unstaffed in all areas of the front of house took awhile for our server to greet us but he was super nice and apologetic! He took our drink order and starters and our starters came out loooong before our drinks! We got the steak tartare which was great, octopus which was also tasty but only included one tentacle so not everyone got a chance to try it, Brussels- nothing special and salmon crudo which was also good. Our server took our main orders and then there was some issue there so we had to retake our orders but, no worries we were enjoying our time! We also asked for another round of drinks...In between waiting for entrees and our drinks everyone's water glasses were empty so we grabbed a water pitcher from the server station and refilled our own glasses 🫣 as mentioned, they were obviously understaffed! When our entrees were delivered one was incorrect and had to be sent back. I ordered the scallop dish, which was very good, I found it to be a bit salty though and pretty small for an entree... it was two full scallops and one scallop that was cut in half on a bed of corn and leaks with one squash blossom. Again, drinks didn't arrive until after entrees were almost done and one took forever after that. Our server did offer us dessert but we had to get somewhere so we couldn't wait... a comped round of drinks would have been a nice gesture in the bill but, we were charged in full for everything. Most of my party is in hospitality and two of them own restaurants in San Francisco as well so we all get the struggle when it's an off night!

Excellent food and terrific service. I would go there again in a heartbeat. It's also conveniently located - there is actual street parking. The menu was not extensive, but very good. A great spot for just about everyone.

You can tell the people working at this restaurant really care about it. Very clean very professional. Food is perfect. Always has been thanks for being our go to before the game !!
