Marleys was opened in 2018 by young local couple, Mark & Charly. It's a culmination of fresh, seasonal and local ingredients - served by the friendliest team, and truly produced with love, thought and care.

We serve lunch, dinner and weekend breakfast in a relaxed and cosy atmosphere.

We focus on 'British Comfort Food', with a little extra attention to detail. Casual Dining at it's best - in your little neighbourhood cafe-restaurant.

We take dinner bookings in the evenings - with breakfast and lunch being walk-in only.

Great food as always. Had the pork belly which has always been one of my favourite dishes here.

Delicious food and charming, attentive staff. Noise levels are pretty high even though the tables are comfortably far-apart...but that's Folkestone enjoying itself!

Great food and great service. I would say chairs are very uncomfortable and harsh on your back and tables are very small. There was 3 of us and we were sat on a small square table which would barely seat 2 people.

Marleys never fails to impress us with the quality and value of their dining experience. We love the seasonal menu with focus on local suppliers and sustainable/low carbon choices evident throughout. The food is delicious, the pork belly melts in the mouth and the vegan seitan is a real treat. Thoughtful additions like alcohol free drinks and helpful extras in the bathrooms make Marleys stand out above any others in Folkestone. The service is always brilliant and staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you Marleys, we love you!

A family dinner of guests age 6 to 89. Many different dishes ordered and everyone was completely happy with their food beautifully cooked & presented by the kitchen team. The 6 year old said “his chicken was the best chicken he has ever tasted!” high priase from the young man 😁. Service from our waitress Kaitlin was excellent, efficient, informative, friendly and welcoming; excellently supported by the rest of the marleys team. (disclosure, we know kaitlin so expected nothing less than perfection 😘) Our Top recommendations include:- bang bang chicken, monk fish, pork belly bites, the marleys sharing board, buttermilk chicken, marleys burger, halloumi bites and the childrens chicken. Marleys is the perfect choice for any occasion, breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a coffee or snack.

Overall was great. The staff that served us were really attentive and polite and we felt like they really care about Marleys. The food was very good over all.

Staff were attentive without being annoying. Starter platter was delicious, and really pleased I could swap a couple of food items over. Bit disappointed that Chapel down wasn’t sold by the glass. But overall really lovely evening
