Marleys was opened in 2018 by young local couple, Mark & Charly. It's a culmination of fresh, seasonal and local ingredients - served by the friendliest team, and truly produced with love, thought and care.

We serve lunch, dinner and weekend breakfast in a relaxed and cosy atmosphere.

We focus on 'British Comfort Food', with a little extra attention to detail. Casual Dining at it's best - in your little neighbourhood cafe-restaurant.

We take dinner bookings in the evenings - with breakfast and lunch being walk-in only.

What a truely lovely experience we had, attention to detail with the reservation sign, a beautiful little congratulations card on our anniversary. Staff were all helpful, friendly and polite. Food was the best I have have tasted from anywhere in a very very long time, we will definitely be back and will most certainly be recommending to our family & friends.

Lovely staff, great local food with lots of options and good for Gluten free choices. Good drinks selection. Lovely atmosphere.

Pork belly main course was delicious. Duck advertised as slightly pink was too rare for my liking and without question brought me another plate. It was very tasty. Great service. Lively atmosphere.

The food and service was second to none, from the welcome we received to the thank you for coming everything was exceptional! Certainly no wonder you need to reserve a table, the place deserves all the trade it gets.

We booked a table at short notice for our 9th wedding anniversary for 5:15pm. We arrived slightly early (before 5pm) but we were met with a warm welcome and an explanation that food service would not start until 5pm but the table was ready and we were welcome to sit and order some drinks. When we were sat, we discovered a small card written by the staff congratulating us on our anniversary. This was an amazing, touching little addition to our evening. We ordered cocktails to start (peach breeze and a hot toddy) which were amazing. Food choices were goats cheese poppers and pork belly chunks which were both superb followed by mushroom arrancini and a steak. Credit to the chefs here as the main courses were superb, the steak was ordered as rare as it comes and the chef cooked it to perfection. Paired perfectly with truffle butter and seasonal kale. The arrancini was perfect, with a ratatouille that would be amazing as a dish in its own right. We were so impressed with every aspect of our meal, from the welcome, to the service throughout, to the amazing food prepared by some very talented professionals and the carefully thought out drinks. If you are in Folkestone, do not miss out on Marleys!

Such a lovely vibe, rustic and chic. Only thing I will say is there was a bit of a wait on drinks and top ups , needed to order my next drink before I’d finished my current due to the wait Food was very good Would deffo recommend to go again

Initially the table was late, I took it that it was due to the previous customers enjoying every last morsel of their meal. Generally a good sign. We were seated soon enough, a brilliant attentive customer service team sorted out the meal orders and kept us abreast of what was available. Lovely atmosphere, very well presented food and reasonably priced. Thank you for a beautiful night. ♥️
