Le Market Restaurant propose une expérience culinaire élégante et confortable. Situé sur la Main Street à Sainte-Hélène, ce bâtiment historique est fait de murs de pierre caractéristiques et d'un bar d'époque datant du début du siècle. Le menu propose des classiques américains dotés d'une nouvelle approche de saison et la carte des vins propose une sélection variée de produits pour accompagner les créations du chef, avec une attention particulière accordée aux vignerons locaux de la Napa Valley. En plus d'une carte des vins à l'influence locale et aux prix raisonnables, le Market ne fait jamais payer le droit de bouchon.

The service is always amazing and the food is delicious. We drive almost two hours each way just to dine at the market.

Market is a favorite of ours and when we have guests to our home in the Napa Valley. Dinner at Market was a request from our friends visiting from England. The restaurant is beautifully appointed from the antique bar where perfect Martinis and excellent wines are enjoyed, to the beautifully arranged tables for dining. The service is impeccable and perfectly timed. The food is among the best in this prestigious valley. Our group of four shared the calamari and crab cake appetizers. Regarding the main courses, our friends had the prime rib and filet. We enjoyed the pork chop and salmon. We all raved about our excellent prepared and well appointed meals. We finished the evening with the Market signature butterscotch pudding (not to be missed). The food, service and atmosphere are marvelous.

The staff is always attentive and friendly. For the price my dinner was lacking substantial vegetables. More sprouts and less potatoes please. The pork chop was dry and dull. Not worth the price.

Market is a relaxed, welcoming environment. There were 6 of us, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal, remarking on the freshness of ingredients. The dinner salads were especially appreciated. Tortellini, though good, was possibly the least appreciated item. Service was terrific. It was surprising to hear how willing the kitchen was to make substitutions, split entrees and salads, etc. Overall, a really enjoyable casual meal.
