Welcome to Market Place Kitchen & Bar! We are a new Modern American Restaurant in the heart of Avon, CT. We celebrate and encourage local, organic and sustainably harvested food and spirits. The interior of our space is compiled of sustainable and local materials, utilizing beautiful 300 year old barn wood from the Gurski Farm in Brookfield, CT.

We look forward to you trying our inventive, seasonally inspired cuisine and cocktails. Eat sustainably, live well, and enjoy your experience at Marketplace!

Our first time here. Beautiful, rustic decor. We were in Fireplace room. Quiet, nice. All of our choices were really good, although the gnocchi dish was very salty, probably from the sausage in the dish, which tasted great otherwise. Desserts were really good, big enough to share. Our server was great, and speed of service was relaxed, but not slow. I'd definitely recommend, and we'll be back

My boyfriend and I dined here for Valentine’s Day and had a fantastic experience. The food was excellent, service was top notch and the atmosphere was great! We will definitely be back

The manager was phenomenal he was able to get us a new table after we were initially sat at tabletop with two strangers because they were so full, he went above and beyond and checked on us constantly. The food was great the service was fast and excellent. Great experience especially for Valentines Day.

We just had a very enjoyable Valentines Day dinner. Service was great, as usual, and our dinners were superb. My wife ordered a special salad with chicken and I had the Ahi Tuna. Both were brought out quickly, hot and the changes for my wife were perfect. The restaurant was very busy due to a Friday Valentines Day and yet, the wait and bar staff were as nice and pleasant as ever. We are frequent customers and the combination of personable staff, good food and great atmosphere will keep us coming back.

The food is always great. Live the atmosphere of the place. Only tiny minus, I had to ask for bread for the table and was not offered it at the beginning. Love the bread
