MariPili is a James Beard nominated Galician themed tapas bar providing a casual environment for elevated Spanish bar food and homestyle cooking. MariPili is named for chef's aunt and the bar and walls are adorned with Galician art and keepsakes. Estrella Galicia is served on tap and there are a wide variety of tapas options like the pan seared lingcod 'Bacallau a Mariñera' and Spanish classic 'Croquettas de Jamon' as well as our seasonal tasting menu Tapear Tapearei which includes many bite sized courses reflecting a more traditional tapas experience. Honoring the chef's blended heritage, the wine list features a selection from Spain and Washington exclusively.

We went for late night happy hour at the bar and enjoyed all of the dishes and drinks that we ordered. Would definitely return to try more dishes!

My third time with their ever changing tasting menu. A culinary adventure of the best kind. Amazing flavors and our knowledgeable service staff did a great job informing us about the treats we were about to consume.

I went with a great friend based on a high recommendation from another friend - the ease of making a reservation, the service of the staff, the food - it was all SO GOOD!

The food was amazing and the waitstaff very knowledgeable. 2 of us had the tasting menu, which we can't recommend highly enough! Why 4 stars and not 5? It was loud and, at least in the back room where we were seated, on the stuffy side. Not much they can do about the noise level, given the current restaurant culture, but a couple ceiling fans would make a huge difference. Regardless, we will be back! Imaginative, well-prepared tapas (and a little wine) is the best way to hang with friends.

Great food and service. Glad to have another option for Tapas in Seattle. Food was timed into two "courses" which worked out perfectly for us. One gripe is that the only N/A cocktail costs $17. Not exactly appealing when one of the party is a designated driver. More interesting N/A options (not canned or bottled) would be very beneficial.
