As always, the food was good as was the service. Everyone is always pleasant and the atmosphere was lovely today.

We were in Ohio to visit our daughter and looking forward to a great Italian dinner this was not it. We made a reservation for 7:00pm on a Wednesday evening upon arrival I noticed that there was no bar .Being there at 6:40 pm we wanted to enjoy a pre dinner cocktail so I was already a little disappointed. We were promptly seated and ordered our drinks. My wife’s glass was smudged so the server had to bring a new drink . It went down hill from there . Appetizers were not what was described. Ordered two chopped salads , granted they were not on the menu and we appreciated them. Only problem was that they had forgotten my wive’s dressing. Ordered our entrees and here was our biggest disappointment. My wife told the server Carbonara two times but a wrong dish came out. We had to wait until the correct order was delivered. By that point my eggplant dish was completely cold . A note to the Carbonara : way too much salt. Also it would have been better with pancetta or guanciale. We don’t complain as we are well aware that accidents happen. I think the owners should be aware of the issues and concerns so that they can be corrected. Overall not a great experience.

We love coming here. The staff is so welcoming and it feels like you are amongst family. The Sammy’s Sunday sauce is so flavorful with pork and in their meatballs. So so good. The icing on the cake is the cassata cake!! But also try the banana foster yum yum.

There's a reason this restaurant has been operating for more than 50 years. The food has always been outstanding, the service fantastic. It has been owned by generations of the same family. One of the best!
