Welcome to your new neighbourhood British pub Marine Tavern, nestled in the heart of downtown overlooking Bronte Harbour! We can't wait to welcome you back. Reserve your spot effortlessly through OpenTable or give us a call. Come in and enjoy our diverse array of authentic British dishes, from the classic Scotch Egg and Pork Sausage Roll to the iconic Fish & Chips and hearty Pie & Mash, and more. A quick note: our Main Patio is the covered glass-doored area, and the Indoor Dining Room is nestled inside the building. Please be mindful not to park in the large lot north of Marine Drive, as towing is enforced. See you soon!

                                                  So disappointed with our experience. The food was C grade. Fish and chips were terrible, flank steak was cold and rubbery and calamari was rub from a bag. The only thing that was dealable were the cocktails. I e used to love Yolanda’s and the Cove was fine. Going downhill fast.

                                                  We sat on the covered patio. Great ambience. Friendly and timely service we both had the Coronation Chicken Wrap. It was delicious. They have a broad wine and beer menu. This was our second visit here. We will return. Value is solid.

                                                  I have been at Marine Tavern for drinks at the bar and love the atmosphere and great drinks. I have also dine when it was originally the Cove and love the menu and the variety or seafood options. In our latest visit, I continued to like the atmosphere, but was not impressed with the food at all. For the price I paid, I expected better. I didn’t realized when the name was changed to a Tavern that the food would be just like a pub and not all that amazing. I continued to think that the location is amazing, and I am not done trying other dishes, but was not all impressed.

Two incorrect breakfast!sandwiches (eggs not as ordered, bacon not crisped, cold), one full English - cold mushrooms, back-bacon and eggs, soggy greasy hash brown. Two quiche orders - both cold. Sent back for reheating but retuned still cold. Very disappointing for our first trip to this establishment. When I say cold, I am not exaggerating. Not one of the five meals was enjoyed. Coffee was good but very slow.

                                                  My husband and I ordered fish and chips. The fish batter was u see cooked and doughy Our friend ordered the chicken pie which was overcooked and too much sauce on the fries. The service was incredible but the noise level was high. Overall I would go back for drinks but not food. Pretty much the same disappointment in the food as when this was Cove.

                                                  A really lovely ambiance. Various seating choices make it family friendly and enhance the atmosphere. Good English food and the Friday fish and chips and a beer is great. Nice staff too

                                                  A great place to spend an evening. We did trivia and had a lot of fun. Our server, Ava, was the best!! Kind, fun and attentive to our orders.

                                                  The restaurant has turned over a few times but we have always liked the “outdoor” feeling at this spot. Went with another couple and everyone ordered something different. Everyone felt their meal was OK. Cocktails were great and the service was very good. Also enjoyed the more casual vibe and outdoor environment. Think this is a spot I’d come for a drink and appetizer if it’s a warm sunny day but there are lots of other locations for a better meal.
