The absolute loveliest food & service! I went with my father on Christmas Eve & the food was delicious. I believe our waitress was Francesca & she was so warm and friendly.

We’ve learned over the years to keep our expectations low when dining out on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, our trip to Maria’s Cucina didn’t change that expectation. We waited at least 10 minutes or be greeted at the hostess stand and were then taken to the room that had 1 Christmas decoration and was pretty chilly. It took at least 15 minutes for the waitress to greet us and when she did she was in a rush and unable to take our drink order. We ordered two appetizers and they both arrived room temperature. The stuffed mushrooms had good taste that clearly would have been enhanced if they were even remotely warm and the calamari was soggy - both had clearly been sitting in the window waiting to be delivered to our table. We got the entrees - chicken parm, shrimp scampi and the stuffed veal chop. The chicken was excellent but the rigatoni on that dish was severely undercooked - so much so that it snapped in half when you used a fork. The shrimp scampi was cold, had an exorbitant amount of black pepper, pasta was very starchy and the dish tasted nothing like a scampi sauce. The veal chop was good but was also mostly room temp. For dessert we had the bondino and chocolate cake - that was the highlight of the night. We’d like to say we’d try again on another night but I’m not sure I want to give it another shot at close to $200.

We had to wait 20 minutes for people to leave until we got our table. Waiter was good. Food was good but it was very slow. It was Christmas Eve so probably very busy for them.

Definitely not their best night. The menu was limited, and I was not notified of that before I booked. The food was not up to their normal at all. The shrimp scampi was great, but three of us ordered the linguine and clams which was mediocre. The salad was good, the Clams Casino were good, the calamari was soggy. Definitely not up to their normal standard which is weird.

Everything from the moment we arrived until the moment we left was absolutely perfect! Our server, Nick, the"Captain" was tremendous! He was friendly and attentive . The food was perfectly done from appetizers to dessert! The ambiance, decor and Christmas decorations are stunningly gorgeous. Needless to say we will be going back! What a gem in the city of Providence.

Great food and atmosphere! The staff were very attentive. This was not our first time visiting and certainly won’t be our last.

We were a group of 5 and everyone had a great meal. The service was very good. Alway a crowd pleaser especially during Christmas with the decorations. We will be back 👍👍👍👍

The food and drinks were great,and we had exceptional service! However, the table positioned in the corner by the bar and hostess stand was a bit much! I would have preferred to sit elsewhere....

The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, but it was extremely loud in the room we were in. There was a large party, with very loud patrons and we could hardly hear the people in our party (4).
