This traditional restaurant opened its doors in 2009 as a tribute to our grandmother Maria Corona, born in Mexico City in 1917. The history of the Corona family is extremely interesting, dates from the time of the General Ramon Corona who, during the French intervention played a fundamental role in the fall of the Emperor Maximilian. This restaurant is the guardian of the traditional techniques of mestizo cuisine, with flavors and recipes dating back to the times of the Mexican Independence until the beginning of the twentieth century. Dedicated to our grandmother Maria Corona born in 1916 in Mexico City, here you will find her traditional recipes along with her cooking secrets as they’ve been handed down from generation to generation. Everything is done in the purest of Mexican Cooking Traditions. Located in the heart of downtown San Lucas with indoor and patio seating Live dinner music nightly from 7 to 10 pm. Carlos was great! Food was wonderful, entertainment was a true culture experience and impressive! Guacamole made table side was fun! Bubbling cheese fondue was perfect! Thank you! All the servers were gracious and helpful!

Very good authentic Mexican dinner with very good margarita in a lovely romantic atmosphere. We have been visiting María Corona every year for a long time. We congratulate the managrment for keeping high quality of food, drinks and service.

Nothing made or presented was not done without carful consideration and the desire for those who visit to have exquisite food and ambience. The staff is generous and caring. The food is the very best. We travel al over the world a day we think it is one of the very best. See you next super bowl

Excellent meal, lovely environment. Maria Corona has one of the best Margaritas and the poblano soup is simply fantastic! The catch of the day was Sea Bass and it was cooked to perfection. We shared some of the best churros served with lovely chocolate and caramel sauces and a small scoop of ice cream. The entertainment was special, the singer had a tremendous voice. One of the best meals during our time here in Cabo San Lucas. Pablo and Blanca took great care of us! Just a magical evening! Gracias!

We come to Maria Corona every single time we stay in Cabo and we are never disappointed!! There is always live music, and the food and service are out of this world! The cheese fondue appetizer is something dreams are made of; you must order it! I love the entire staff here, they always make our visit completely unforgettable. Thank you again Maria Corona, our favorite restaurant in Cabo. MUAH!❤️

Best entertainment and family fun. Service was amazing everyone was very kind. Food was some of the best I’ve had the mole was to die for.

Great value restaurant with a beautiful setting w/ live music every evening which make it an experience instead of just a dinner. Food....well 2 dishes were over cooked which was disappointing but it didn't hamper our experience as everything else was really nice. The setting under the stars make it special. The service was a little slow at times as our server kinda disappeared at times. Overall very nice restaurant w/ good food at great prices.
