Visited this restaurant a few years ago and had an amazing time so tried it again on this visit to London. What went wrong - Starter and main course were different ingredients to what we ordered and they didn’t notify us until they brought the food, main course was served when we were still eating our starter, staff started to clean the restaurant around us and turned the heating off when we still drinking our wine. Restaurant should not take a 9pm booking if they wish to close early. If they wish to be a fast food restaurant they should charge accordingly. We will not be returning or recommending.

We had a fabulous birthday meal at Margot before going to the theatre. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the service was on point and the food was delicious. The scallop starter was very well balanced whilst our mains, the duck breast and lobster tagliolini both had depth of flavour and were fantastic. The birthday treat was a kind addition that rounded off our great experience.

Fabulous. Great ambience, great service and great food, what else could you ask for? The sommelier was excellent and his choice went wonderfully with our food. I would thoroughly recommend.
