Margeaux Supper Parlor presents a novel way to experience dinner by telling stories through cuisine. Guests are encouraged to order a themed trio of dishes, larger than tapas and smaller than big plates, to better experience the menu and recreate the familial bonhomie we associate with supper at grandma’s (when you were urged to try a bite of everything!).
Recommended wine pairings are served in collections to mirror the entree trios.

Margeaux Supper Parlor serves New American cuisine, blending dishes inspired by the two most historic port cities in the country: New Orleans and Boston. Dinner plates include: Tomato & Bacon Jam Deviled Eggs (topped with a fried Maine oyster), Lamb Lollipops with cherry reduction, Pumpkin Ravioli, Beef Wellington, Shrimp & Boursin Grits, and Maple Bourbon Steak Tips.

Brunch is also served in themed collections and includes items such as: Quiche Lorraine, Fried Chicken & Sweet Corn Waffle, Eggs Benedict, and a Black Forrest Waffle.

The food was amazing! Everything we tried was delicious and perfect shareable portions. Prices are also very good for what you’re getting! This place is truly a gem and we will definitely be back!!

Unique and very group friendly menu layout and options. It took us a minute to get acclimated with ALL of the different combos and themes, but the concept is really cool and allows you to sample a wide variety of plates from the menu. The wine flights also really simplify the task of choosing wines that pair well with your meal. The cocktails were unique and really well balanced. The desserts were fine, I thought the banana bread dessert was a missed opportunity. Margeaux’s kitchen is putting out some stellar food - that, coupled with the ambience (loved to see touches of the old Colette furniture still there!), makes for a very easy decision to be a return diner. All it’s missing is some music to really transport us to New Orleans- can we get a petition going for some beignets and jazz?! All in all, really well done; I’m very excited about this addition to the Cambridge food scene.

After I made the resie, I looked at the menu online, I was immediately impressed by the design of the menu. I love the attention to the graphics and the font! The restaurant put a lot of thought into designing the menu. As an artist I can appreciate n know that the restaurant cares for every detail. It was very well designed. Kudos to the restaurant. I was so looking forward to beef Wellington my favorite, to my surprise it was sold out! oh well, next time! Our server Luan was very informative & friendly. The menu was nicely curated there's a trio tasting menu or, Make your own tasting trio, I choose to make my own (since they didn't have beef Wellington) w French onion soup, lobster gnocchi n shrimp n grits, my daughter chose farm & field tasting. The pork was amazing ! Smoked bbq flavor w Mac & cheese. The restaurant background wallpaper is also very photogenic. Very much a fancy Parlor feel. Love the wall paper. I used come stay at Porter square hotel when visiting my daughter while she was studying in a university near by. I was upset to find out my loved restaurant Colette had closed. Im pleasantly surprised Margeaux exceeded my expectations. I'm looking forward to coming back next time n I hope they have the beef Wellington!

Food had an amazing taste but came out a little cold/ room temp… I think because we did the tasting so between two people we basically got 6 mini meals (3 different meals each) so it was probably hard to time all 6! Flavor was good just would’ve been great if it was hot

Excellent neighborhood restaurant. Having the option to select tastings of the many selections off the menu is unique. The restaurant calls them collections (they are not tapa’s). My friend and I selected lobster gnocchi, lollipop lamb chops w/broccolini & roasted potato’s, and swordfish w/haricot verts & rice, which we shared along w/apple crisp for dessert. Everything was excellent. They do have wine pairings to go with the various collections. We will definitely return & try other menu items including duck, halibut…. The food was served timely and the wait staff was incredible!

My fiance and I came here for dinner before a concert. Perfect for a date night. The room wasn’t too loud or crowded. We loved the tasting menu and getting to try a lot of different smaller plates. I was truly blown away by how good the food was. Wait staff was really nice too.

This place was unreal! We got a TON of the tasting portions and that’s absolutely the best way to do it. We got to try so many different thing and there’s wasn’t one thing we didn’t like. Definitely a special occasion place because everything adds up quickly but it was totally worth it. We will definitely be back!
