Olga and Julio were amazing. They kept the table clean the entire time. Even after a spill, they rushed to get table clean. Olga came to check on us every 2-5min, first time I have seen this. She took the time to help us understand the menu and we loved the food she suggested. Ask for Olga and Julio when you go visit. My wife loved it too.

We are back - again and again. May’s Mother”s day experience was outstanding! This July visit was a staycation at the National. Dining at Mareva 1939 is a given! Olga was our server, by request, and as always, she and Julio ensured five star service! We ordered tapas rather than an entree because we want to explore all the flavors! We have dined here so many times, and is always consistent. Meaning, each plate is presented masterfully and bursting with flavor. Thanks Chef Sergio ! Until next time, cheers!

Outstanding service. Good pianist and singer. Tapas was very good. Portions much larger than Spanish tapas

Yesterday we had an amazing birthday dinner at the best Spanish restaurant on the beach ! Octopus , roasted bone marrow, chorizo,ribeye steak were cooked to perfection! Amy was very attentive and helpful with choices ! Ana made sure about the details while we were dining , manager Zou checked on us the whole time if we were satisfied with all the experience.Chef Sergio really knows how to impress the customers with delicious food ( my husband is a peaky eater , but all the plates were finished 100%) And the basque cheesecake is a must ! Thank you all guys for a wonderful evening 🤍

The restaurant was very good. The food and the service great It was quite empty.. But the bad moment came after dinner. As the pool area looked very nice from our side, the complete family decided to walk around that area. My husband, our 3 teenagers and myself. The hotel was very painteresque until we ALL saw 2 couples in the pool, one of them having sex explicit. The second one not sure. I was so shocked that I just wanted to leave the hotel. But if the hotel permits this kind of things, they should not allow descent people to walk around at night. IT WAS VERY DISGUSTING AND UNCOMFORTABLE.

Our waitress was excellent and encouraged us to try things out of our comfort zone. The bone marrow was delicious! We sat outside and the ambiance was amazing.

I was thrilled with our dinner here. The food was delicious. Our server Flavio was helpful with food and wine recommendations. He was always there if we needed him but not hovering. The decor is beautiful and sitting by the pool was so pretty. I would definitely try the black paella.

Our waiter was great and I know it's Miami Beach but seriously. First the place has great vibes in the decor but it's in the middle of the hotel with people walking to and from the pool. Second, we ordered a couple of tapas and one was 3 meats, 4 small slices each for $27 and the other was 7 slices of cheese for $24. Finally, we had two drinks that were simple martinis with vodka and lemon juice, which were made wrong and tasted horrible $22! I am a serious foodie and have eaten in several states including California and New York City and more than a few countries. I have never spent so much for so little with exception of a couple of Michelin star restaurants. I don't mind spending money for good food and atmosphere but this was lackluster at best.
