Food was delicious. Servers were lovely. Front room was energetically loud, so grateful that we were seated in the back room to accommodate a guest with challenges hearing. A bit pricey for a BYOB, but every bite was yummy.

We had a truly outstanding meal at Mare Monte BYOB last night. I've lived in the area for over 30 years and never knew this restaurant was there. Our waiter (forgot his name, but he said he was new), was so attentive and accommodating. We shared both calamari and escargot. The escargot was prepared differently than I'm used to with a mascarpone mousse on top of about a dozen escarrgot in garlic sauce. We mixed the cheese mixture in which completed the flavor. I would have preferred the mascarpone warmed. The main course, which we both ordered veal Mare Monte, with crab meat, gorgonzola sauce and crushed walnuts, with mashed potatoes and vegetable medley, was positively awesome. For dessert we had chocolate creme brulee which was divine. Highly recommend!!

The food is all made in-house which is a plus for freshness. You need reservations as it is very busy. They have a variety of specials to offer besides the main menu. Staff is attentive and professional. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Not Haddonfield's finest, but not bad either. The arugula salad was heavy on the lemon in the lemon vinegarette dressing; not good at all. My Via Chicken (recommended by the waitress) come out tepid, and it wasn't as tasty as I would have liked. My husband preferred his chicken dish which was too spicy for me. Both my daughters were slightly disappointed with their meals; one had the chicken risotto and the other a chicken parm. The only real negative was the hovering boys who seemed militant about refilling the water glass should we take a few sips, and removing any plate from our table. It made for less than a relaxed meal. This is the type of place that, if friends invited us out to dinner there, it would be fine, but we won't be making another reservation to eat there again.

A wonderful neighborhood restaurant. The dinners are very delicious and the service is excellent. Try the homemade desserts.

Excellent food & service. My Caesar salad was very good; very generous with the cheese (my favorite part). Both pasta dishes were also very good, as was the seafood risotto, and my veal saltimbocca was also wonderful. Been there before and will continues going!
